Volunteer Opportunities with Help Spot Home

At this time, Help Spot Home is partnering with Glynn County Animal Services.

This unit is our county owned and operated animal control facility.  The facility sees over 4000 animals per year.  Great efforts are being made to adopt out as many healthy animals as possible but still euthanasia is a part of the facilities duties. The rate of animals euthanized hovers between 78 and 83 percent.

Help Spot Home is trying to provide responsible volunteers to help GCAS with the mission of animal care and adoption in order to reduce the burden of euthanasia.

Below is a list of Volunteer Opportunities at the facility.  These are most urgent.  If you feel you cannot go to the facility, there are off site works that can be done.  Please contact us.
